About

I’m Milad Mesof, a Berlin-based Senior AI Art Director and Generative AI Specialist working on large-scale film and television productions.

Over the past four years, I have worked hands-on with AI-driven image and motion pipelines across high-end productions including House of David, Nashville 911, and premium commercial projects. My work focuses on integrating generative AI into production-ready workflows for cinematic visuals, operating within real VFX and animation pipelines rather than experimental or standalone AI setups.

This AI-focused work is built on more than 14 years of experience in traditional 3D animation and visual effects. I have worked across full production pipelines including modeling, lighting, rendering, compositing, and VFX integration, giving me a deep understanding of how large-scale cinematic workflows operate in practice.

Today, I specialize in bridging generative AI with established VFX and animation processes, developing reliable, production-oriented solutions for films, series, and high-end visual storytelling.

With over 13 years of experience in traditional VFX and animation workflows, I specialize in integrating generative AI into production-ready pipelines for cinematic storytelling.

I collaborate on film concepts, cinematic sequences, and VFX-heavy scenes, using AI to explore scale, environments, and visual ideas — and refining them through established production workflows.
My experience in traditional film-era CGI and VFX pipelines ensures that AI material is structured, readable, and usable in real film contexts.
Design and setup of AI-driven production workflows for image and motion projects.
This includes:
- structuring end-to-end pipelines for AI-based visual production
- integrating generative tools into existing production processes
- building workflows for iteration, consistency, and repeatable results
- adapting pipelines to project scale, format, and delivery requirements
Across all projects, I work not only as a technical artist, but as an art director.
This means:
- defining visual language and references,
- controlling composition, rhythm, and tone,
- maintaining consistency across shots and sequences,
- guiding AI generation toward a clear visual result.
As a result, projects are developed from concept to final animation, not assembled from disconnected AI outputs.

I create animated and hybrid visual works combining AI generation with editing, compositing, and motion design. These projects often sit between film, advertising, and art-driven formats.
Here, AI is not used as a shortcut, but as a production instrument integrated into a full visual pipeline.
AI-driven commercial visuals — from creative direction to final animation.
I develop and produce complete visual pieces for advertising and brand content, including concept development, art direction, AI-based generation, VFX, animation, and final delivery.
My background as an art director and VFX artist allows me to shape AI output into coherent commercial narratives, rather than isolated visuals.
AI-based visual storytelling for musicians and performers.
I work with artists and labels on music videos and visual sequences, using AI as a core production tool while maintaining strong visual direction, rhythm, and narrative logic.
This includes full creative development — from visual concept and references to final animation and compositing.
